Proving your independence doesn’t necessarily mean you should ignore the interest of Travelling with other people. It surely is 10x more fun to experience new places, food and culture with them! Travel with friends so you have someone to talk to while you’re past 10 awake in your room, while eating or have someone to share the selfies! And when you arrived at home, you all have the same story experience to reminisce until you get old!
These are just some of the incredible things you can have when travelling with friends. And without further ado, here we got these reasons so you sure say ‘Go’ in travelling with besties!
Why? Because you have someone to debate with! Not arguing, of course, but really taking time to share your ideas and impress others with it is a lot of fun! Also the value of taking considerations of each other’s’ ideas will deepen your relationship and respect.
Taking the chance to be with them will make you more aware, aware in the sense of becoming more connected to each other’s feelings and life. You know that you will always be there for them and them for you. In travel problems, friends will always have your back and will always be at your side, simply because they are stick to you from departure up to going home! They got no choice! (lol!)
I mean, is there any reason how travelling with friends becomes nothing but adventure?
Imagine one would say, “Hey let’s try this one!” and another one would say “Let’s roll the dice! Game on!”
Besides nothing is better than an adventure with friends!
Not to ignore the fact that lovers or marriage did start by friending each other right?
Well..ahem..Let’s try to swipe that fact and dive in deeper: You become a family for a week or so!
You’ll share your stuffs and create memories with each other. Well that’s how family is half translated right?
Well, just like a sleep over, you’ll have to listen and respond while they are sharing!
Plus, activities with friends would surely need more than a day to accomplish. So imagine the lovely bon fire with games at night, which is expected when travelling on beaches and private resorts.
You might notice as well that with your bestfriend/s you can be yourself! Just yourself! You can go loca or crazy whenever you want. Bring on pranks and jokes and just enjoy each laugh you can hear from your mouth. There will never be a chance of -zero jokes- when you are in a group.
Remember a time when you had your culture shock? Alone?
The unfamiliar territory would somehow make you home sick for a moment, but when you are with them, you will be enjoying it instead and laugh & go crazy in love with new the things you both discovered. With them, you will be reassured that your travel plan is going really well.
One of the best parts about travelling with friends is forge a stronger friendship, it doesn’t just maintain but develops out of the experience. The unique moments you shared together, the incredible sights you both pleasured to look at, the new things you both learned at the same time and more, will always make your friendships much stronger than before.
Travelling with groups is much more affordable than travelling all by yourself.
You have someone to cheap-in for a hotel or apartment room, a car rent or a private jet rent (for rather more luxurious and safe travel).
Also, it’s more fun when things are being shared with bestfriends! And Most importantly, just like you are to them, they will always remind you with your budgeted plan!…no matter what! Ha!
But be clever enough that you will be the one to ask them in including you extra of your extra clothes to their baggage. It’s not a surprise when you got that friend who is contented with just 2 extra clothes, a pair of shoe & sandals, sunglasses and a hat with them, so ask this friend fast if you got more extra things to pack on. Also, the important things such as toiletries, sunscreen and phone chargers are being shared to each other, thus, you got no problemo on these items.
Accept it, sometimes being alone is lonely.
But travelling with friends will never miss a moment to fully enjoy!
You carry a piece of home with you! And that’s your friends!
When you are with friends, you have reassurance that everything you do is according to the will of a sane person. They agreed to it, you agreed to it so why not to try it! Go and dance crazily under the sun, eat Samyang and other funny things you can do together!
You will be more functional and become more active as you are with them. You see things clearly and understand your ‘what and where to do next’ plan. You have this task for the group, either you do barbeque for the night beach or you’re the one that’s singing karaoke!
Well, you will not be needing a selfie stick/monopod or a camera stand for a full body shot, your friends are much awesome-er!
And groupies will double the fun!
—————————-
I guess that pretty sum it up all. These are the reasons why you should be travelling with friends.
Want to ask a friend? Easy! Show this to them. Share this blog’s link or tag them in a post.
You should never miss this one chance to go crazy while travelling with your friends!
Try it and enjoy!

See ya!
They say, “To Travel is to live life to the Fullest”.
You’re not convinced? Still confused and double minded whether it is good to travel or not?
We’ve got you covered!
Little did you know that travelling may cost big but it is a sure investment to improve yourself. What does it take for someone to understand life?
LIFE in 4 big letters is intriguing. It’s a simple word but it carries your whole being, your emotion, your existence…
You might be wondering what’s the main purpose of travelling. Well, we’ll say it in a very familiar phrase, that is: “Going out in your COMFOR ZONE”. Come on! Enough hiding inside your self-made ‘not-so-cool’ shell.
The opportunity to learn and grow is what this world is demanding. It gives us the chance to be fully engaged in exquisite activities and develop new skills that you never thought you have. It gives you an eye to look for greener pastures (those who want to have high & stable income) and teach you how to live the life with a positive outlook.
Internet might be the most common way of ‘looking outside’, the usual window to see the world, but is it the ‘Healthy Way’ of living? Being stuck inside the 4 corners of your room with a device in your lap that will surely send radiation in your brain?
Exposure to radiation in the first place is BAD.
Above is just a prologue of this blog. Here to complete and fully understand the benefits of travelling, kindly read the following below. (We know you’re excited…)
Health is wealth. Exercising at the gym is good, but it is not enough. Travel improves your brain health. This is all good for your health because new experiences increase cognitive flexibility, keeping your mind sharp.
Studies have shown a connection between travel and an increase in creativity, a deeper sense of cultural awareness and personal growth.
Travel exposes you to different environments, which create stronger antibodies and boost your immune system significantly.
Antibodies are the little proteins that protect your immune system from harmful pathogens. In fact, research shows exposure to some dirt and minor illnesses actually keeps your body and gut stronger. But of course, it doesn’t mean you’ll forget your basic hygiene during the travel. You definitely should still wash your hands or sanitized them – every now and then – so to protect you from being sick. But, to be vaccinated by having some new bacteria in your life isn’t a bad thing. When you travel, your body actively adapts thousands of new bacteria which in turn make your immune system much stronger.
It also lowers Stress levels, like very – very – much. This information is not surprising after all, as walking outside in the park for 30 minutes each day would significantly lower your stress level already, so how much more if you travel for a day or a week? It is significantly proven that happy hormones increases as you travel and decreases your depression.
As we have said earlier, travelling helps brain activities. It expands your mind. Why? Well needless to explain further, but ok we’ll say it so to make this blog longer (lol). The answer is because: 1st – You meet new people, 2nd – You adapt to new situations and 3rd – You become globally and culturally aware.
So that’s it! Travelling is Healthy!
Do you think social media improves your social life already because you got 5,000 Facebook friends and 10,000 Facebook followers? Those people that will just click the ‘Like’ button of your post in just half a second then commented ‘beautiful’? Well it’s a big NO.
Being in other country, where your native language is not widely used, will help you learn how to communicate using your own style of polite gesture. This will help you know yourself more and know how the word ‘respect’ improves communication.
Asking for directions to your target restaurant while walking will need extra effort, but it is all worth it, as you will see how other culture treats you in the most polite way. Surely you will have foreign friends before you’re back to your beloved country.
See? It definitely broadens your horizon. “Travelling helps you connect with different people from different cultures and this is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness. Meeting people from different cultures and societies will help you see issues and daily life from many different angles.” (inf src)
Sounds pretty cool doesn’t it, being connected to other cultures and people from all over the world? Not only will you have more friends around the globe to keep in touch with, but you will also have people happy to let you stay at theirs when you next get itchy feet. You’ll have the opportunity to visit their home turf and see their city and way of life like no other tourist would. They’ll want to show you their world, and luckily for you, you’ll get to see it through the eyes of the locals. (inf src)
This might sound redundant as we have said already that travelling will make you healthy. Listen up, being fit is way different of being healthy. They are two separate words that are needed to be respectively defined properly.
But do seek Healthy body first before being Physically Fit.
Just because a body builder or an athlete for that matter looks strong, sculpted and without a trace of fat, doesn’t mean he or she is healthy. Meaning, to be healthy, you must be fit, but you can be fit and not be healthy.
They are not equal. Health is a state of complete physical, mental well-being, not merely the absence of disease. Fit means in good health, especially because of regular physical exercise.
Sometimes the more fit we are, the easier it is to ignore our body’s warnings. This is true of young people as well as adults. We can easily disregard warning signs, however, being healthy means listening to our brains and our bodies. (src inf)
Have you ever been in a situation where you are stuck in one place or one answer? Yes! Of course, all of us had that experience. While travelling, you will find yourself stuck in situations where things don’t always go as planned. Such situations will help you learn to cope with the uncertainties in life.
Taking a journey all by yourself is not only humbling, it’s empowering. It’s the time every impossible item you ever thought about, seems possible. Ever fear, and apprehension fades into insignificance when you’re on a road to discovering yourself, because a big part of it is overcoming everything you were ever scared of. So eat as many insects as you want, jump off cliffs, drive on mountains, or take a walk on an unknown road. The world is all yours to explore.
Travelling can be scary at first, especially when you arrive in a new country by yourself but believe us, you will get used to the people and the culture very quickly. You will adapt quicker than you ever thought and when you return home you can be super proud of who you’ve become and the fact that you did it all by yourself.
“There is no place like home”, they say, but there’s nothing tasted so good like the exotic food you can find respectively in every each country.
There might be this feeling of nauseous when you smell ‘this or that food’ at first but suck it up! And eat it!
You travel and left home for new experiences, so make sure you’re doing it. Again the secret to experience new foods is to – “suck it up and eat it!” -.
There’s nothing worse than travelling thousands of miles from home to taste the familiar. Speak to locals and find out how they cook certain dishes, what ingredients they use and why. Get them to write it down on a piece of paper, don’t just stick it on your Instagram stories and be done, learn the tricks of the trade and appreciate new flavours from around the world. (inf src)
Nothing feels like travelling. It is the feeling of being free and wild with caution at the same time. Live the life.
When locals are happy, smiling and friendly, it has an immediate knock-on effect. I found the people of Cambodia and Laos to be notably friendly and cheerful, despite the relative poorness of these countries and the former in particular having a very recent traumatic history. When faced with those big beaming smiles, it’s hard to be annoyed at the hassling you might experience at busy sites like Angkor Wat; putting that knee-jerk irritation to one side instantly lifts your mood and is a good habit to take home.
Traveling gives us breathing space that is often lost in our usual day-to-day existence. Having a moment to take advantage of peace and quiet and to simply ‘be’ allows us to let go of stress and tension and just enjoy being in the moment — a key focus of meditation and a practice you can take home with you. If you’re traveling with a partner, it’s a chance to spend time with only each other for company, which is a thought that probably shouldn’t fill you with dread.
A house can wait, a degree can wait, a car can wait, travelling might not be able to wait, don’t live to regret not doing it.
Here are the summary list of things you’ll regret if you’ll not travel NOW.
And that’s it!

Be Smart when packing.
Traveling light doesn’t mean that you won’t be bringing the essential items which will keep you survive and look presentable while in other places. Especially in luxury traveling, we tend to bring just one pretty small suitcase with sunglasses on.
But keep in mind that to be presentable is too be ‘present-able’! Meaning you are able to present yourself gorgeously!
You’re out there not just for Business purposes, but also to savour the sightings and take selfies! Let’s not forget being a classy traveller.
Here are the top travel packing tips to help you create the best travel moments everywhere you go!
What and how to pack? Top items on the list!
Portable USB charger / Power Bank!
Guys and Gals, it is 2018! Everyone needs to charge something right?
Our life is recorded on our phone and traveling would be best with HD Cams. Smart phones and Laptops/netbooks is the place where you would store all of your essential info, like maps, directions to hotels, flight info, etc.
It is where your trusted assistant can be found: Google assistant, Siri, Cortana and name all the voice bots!
That means you need it all the time, and we know you really hate to rush looking for outlets in airports or transport spots, especially with different converters. (Luxury Traveling with Newport Jets on the other hand will never make you do this though)
Invest in a few small portable USB chargers and batteries. They’ve been a lifesaver for years!
Be organized! It is a big thing in travelling. Everyone, for business or not, really needs to travel somewhere. Travel packing cubes are the ultimate luggage organizers!
You don’t need to bring your bottles of supplements and vitamins and have bottle bulk problem on the way. Use small Ziploc bags!
You got liquid items? It’s no problemo! If one of the liquid bottles spills or gets damaged, putting or organizing your things inside Ziplocs won’t get the spilled liquid all over your entire wardrobe!
Travel Security
Look out for pickpockets. Especially when traveling alone. The most convenient way to protect your valuables especially your cash/cards is to keep them hidden and close to you. You can hide your valuables with a money belt or wallet that can be hung on your neck and hidden in your shirts, panties or bras.
Travel Documents, Cash, and Credit Cards are the MOST important things to carry, so be sure to keep them very close to you like your entire travel life depends on it. And of course pray to keep the snatchers our while you are sleeping.
Here are the checklists of travel security items to help you!
The list came from this awesome blog, Thanks! We don’t need to research further.
First Aid
Of course, you don’t want to be infected after a tick, mosquito and bug bite. Also, small accidents happen most often: a slash of nipper, head bump or nail scratch is not impossible. So if you want to travel light, be sure to travel with these first aid check list:
Foodies
Bring things that makes you comfortable, and food is on the top list! Count in the chocolates, snack bars and detoxifying juices. Travel with lovely cookies is fun!
If you book with Newport Jets, we will make everything ready for you. Hot from the stove!
Music to help you sleep
Music lovers can relate very much, but to those who are not, well you still need them. Just in case you will be staying with loud snorers. Country music sound much better than Shrek’s growl right?
Books
Weight is a big thing in travelling. So when you travel, you might consider downloading an e-book app to suffice your eyes while in airport waiting for your plane. If you prefer a traditional book paper to avoid radiation, how about an anti-radiation eyeglasses. Believe me, you would be thankful for the extra space you free up.
With Newport Jets, you will definitely experience the most luxurious reading time ever in your life.

Here is another special featured blog from an enthusiast couple, who advises that having kids or bringing them will never be a distraction, instead, it will make your travel Extra- Special! Their blog: “20 Best Travel Tips After 20 Years of Traveling”, written by no other than Craig himself, smoothly sent us a warm advice to us travellers!
The best way to get your kids interested and excited is to have them involved in the travel planning process.
Talk about:
How many days will your trip be?
What types of places will you visit: beaches, mountains, big cities, small towns?
Do you want relaxation or adventure?
When will the trip start?
Memorable trips are those where each member of your family gets to experience something they love. Grab a few brochures or travel magazines and flick through the colorful pages. Everyone gets to choose a destination and activity they’d like to see and do. Go through the list as a family, discuss the pros and cons of each and vote. Next, jump online or on the floor with a big paper map and plot out your basic route with a highlighter, leaving room for flexibility.
When you plan a trip it’s important you choose a destination and activities that suit the interests of all family members. If your kids (or you) are bored or dislike a place it’s not the recipe for a memorable vacation.
We ask simple questions like:
Where can we get the best coffee?
Where is the best spot to see the sunrise?
What are the top three things you would show a friend from out of town?
You’ll find that the locals love sharing travel info and stories about their town and are more than happy to help you have a memorable visit! Some of the best locals to talk to are those working behind the front desk in your hotel, or the bell boy. We always ask them for tips on where to eat, drink and explore.
Failing that, we look on Trip Advisor.
And my Favorite 6th fave!
Other free things:
Take a walk or bike ride
Swim at the beach or lake
Climb a mountain
Catch a magnificent sunrise
Attend museums or tourist sites on free days or when they are discounted
Play in the park
Visit a market
See a street fair or cultural event
We LOVE walking. It’s one of the best ways to get to know and appreciate wherever you are instead of racing around by car.
When you walk around you have time to stop and marvel at all the nooks and crannies.
You are better able to soak up the atmosphere and feel the energy. And walking is FREE and good for your health!
And walking is FREE and good for your health!
